Bring your own beer, wine, cider, seltzers, hard lemonade and iced teas. New this year you can also bring canned cocktails found at your local liquor store. You must also bring a food item on your tour to comply with NYS rules. We have two 13 seat bikes and 6 peddlers is the minimum for a tour, 5 of the 13 seats are non pedaling. The bike comes with a Bluetooth enabled speaker for the group to play whatever music they want from someones cell phone. This 2 hour tour takes groups to 2 bars for about 35 minutes apiece, it all depends on which bars you pick and how fast the group pedals. We want to make sure your group gets its “pedals worth” but at the same time not too much peddaling. Our goal is to make sure your group has as much fun as possible in a safe way Your driver will take all the group photos on the organizers phone and we pride ourselves on taking professional quality shots. We realize that as the organizer you have the most challenging job so we work with you every step of the way to make it as stress free as possible and to make sure you have the answers to your groups questions. Take a look at the blog entries on our website which are detailed write ups about every facet of a pedal tour including routes, packing, decorating, pro tips and much more.
We just added a second bike in Syracuse that begins/ends by Middle Ages Brewing. If you want to be on the Press Room bike vs Middle Ages let us know when you book your tour. If not when your driver calls you the day before your tour they will go over where your tour begins and ends.
Covid- If you ever did a tour pre covid it is the same fun experience as before. You only have to wear a mask when you enter/exit the bar. The reason you do not have to wear one on the bike is because you are eating and drinking, that is why you must have a food item on the bike during your tour. We will call the bars ahead of time to let them know we are coming (hopefully they pick up) we ask that you decide ahead of time what food item you want so when we call we can place the order and skip as much of the waiting as possible.
